What is it?

Tuned-Out is around to promote artists and musicians.
No profit is made from the site and is funded solely by our day jobs.
Tuned-Out is a channel for artist to get exposure to a wider audience by offering album reviews, press releases as well as CD/live show reviews and interviews.

How did it come to be?

Tuned-Out started back in 2000 as the brainchild of Chet Lewis.
A musician and fan, he would go to shows early to meet the bands and talk with them about their music, get autographs and listen to sound checks. During a discussion with Miki Berenyi (of LUSH), she asked him why he wasn’t running a ‘zine or working for one. That was it. He had the bug and Tuned-Out became a reality.
